MACTE Fall Retreat : 12:00 to 1:00
From noon to 1:00 p.m. we will hear from influential voices like Michael Yudin, Principal at the Raben Group, who will discuss strategies to advocate at the organizational level and how we can support advocacy at the institution level. Together, we’ll discuss critical updates and the future of teacher preparation in Michigan, and across the nation.

Michael Yudin
Principal, Raben Group
Michael worked for the Obama administration at the US Department of Education, serving in several capacities, including assistant secretary for special education and rehabilitative services and as acting assistant secretary for elementary and secondary education. As acting assistant secretary for Elementary and Secondary Education, he oversaw a number of the secretary’s critical priorities, including initiatives to turn around low-performing schools and improve teacher and leader effectiveness.
